FK – Reading ‘The Prince’ during the dubya years showed me that how government actually works hasn’t changed that much in the last 500 years.
If the aliens land and start espousing democracy we’ll know they’re our enemies.
If the govt.s perceive that as some claim the alien hybrids or whatever really do walk among us then a lot of this crap could very well be an effort to deal with that. Hell, sounds like x-files.
Those who claim to want to be free regularly allow their words and thus their thoughts and actions to be controlled by their enemies, who regularly use key terms and phrases in their war on human liberty. Calling the ‘conservatives’ red and the demonscat(communists) blue is a prime example. Back in the 50’s the ‘reds’ were the commies.
Well actually the republicrat party is the original ‘red’ party, the part of big govt. Read ‘The Real Lincoln’ and ‘Lincoln’s Marxists.’

The elites lie to us about everything else why not this? They only tell ‘the truth'(very loosely defined) when it benefits them. It’s all about the state maintaining the force necessary to rule.
The problem of course is looking to the governments for protection. The purpose of the sheepdog is to herd the sheep.
They didn’t want the Indians getting guns and they don’t want us getting ray guns.
Until we are prepared for the worst case scenario we are still losing.
