John T. Booker Jr was arrested April 10 as he fumbled with wiring in the back of a van parked near Fort Riley, a military post in Kansas.

Prosecutors say Booker was attempting to arm what he thought was a 1,000-pound bomb – in fact it was a dummy device supplied to him in an elaborate FBI sting.

According to court documents, the 20-year-old wanted to slaughter Americans on behalf of ISIS and boasted to an undercover FBI agent: ‘I will kill any kuffar.’

Booker Jr’s fanaticism first came to light in a series of warped Facebook posts discovered when he applied to join the military in 2014.

‘Getting ready to be killed in jihad is a HUGE adrenaline rush!!’ he wrote in one. Booker Jr admitted enlisting so he could carry out an ‘insider attack’, including turning his weapon on his fellow soldiers at a firing range or murdering them with a sword.

Senate Passes USA Freedom Act Without Amendments, Moves to President Obama’s Desk

The Senate voted 67-32 Tuesday afternoon to pass the House’s USA Freedom Act without any of the amendments offered by Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

The legislation will now go to President Obama’s desk to be signed into law Tuesday evening.

The USA Freedom Act that was previously passed by the U.S. House of Representatives would, in effect, stop the NSA’s bulk surveillance collection and reform the programs that lapsed when the Patriot Act expired at midnight Sunday, after GOP presidential candidate, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), filibustered the spy program for 11 hours.

The first amendment that failed to pass was the McConnell-Burr amendment. According to the Guardian, this amendment would “Change the amicus on the Fisa court – the public-interests advocate who would argue, in part, about civil liberties concerns to the secret court that oversees many surveillance programs.”

All who voted for that enormous law without reading it should be arrested for treason, tried for treason and executed for treason. I knew at the time it was a sham and act of war against the REAL American people, not some raghead hiding in a cave on the other side of the world. It’s time to stop playing games. During 2006-07, the military steadily increased the number of bad behavior waivers as the services — particularly the Army and Marine Corps — struggled to meet deployment demands in Iraq and Afghanistan. The services let in more recruits with criminal records, including some with felony convictions, in order to meet recruiting quotas.

And in some cases, the services relaxed age restrictions, allowing older people to enlist or rejoin the military.

But as the wars dragged on and suicides, sexual assaults and other bad behavior by service members spiked, military leaders began to question whether there was a link to the relaxed enlistment standards.

Carter also is considering other changes to help ensure the military attracts the best and brightest, including programs to pay off student debt, improvements to the retirement, promotion and evaluation systems and doing more to allow sabbaticals for service members.

A U.S. Citizen is 58 Times More Likely to be Killed by a Police Officer than a Terrorist

Previously, estimates of citizens killed by police were based on the self-reported data supplied by police departments, compiled into a yearly FBI uniform crime report for “justifiable homicide” by officers.

This information drastically underrepresented the number of people being killed at hands of police officers thus giving an unclear perspective of what is actually transpiring on the streets of America.

New data, as reported by the Guardian, suggests that an average of 545 people killed by police went unaccounted for yearly on average in the FBI data.

The revised estimates put the annual number of people killed by cops at an average of 928 per year over the past eight years; a conservative estimate. This information contrasts with the 461 reported killed by police by the FBI for 2013, a difference of almost 450 killings or nearly 50 percent.

When looking at terrorism, the U.S. Department of State reports that only 16 non-military U.S. citizens were killed worldwide as a result of terrorism in 2013, the most recent year data there was available data.

What this means is that a U.S. citizen is actually 58 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist.
