Who’s Afraid of Machiavelli imagine Winter BBC Documentary

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZQVWvte_Ks

FK – This is only an hour. It’s streamed twice in this segment for some reason. I couldn’t find a better resolution version on YouTube.

Everyone should read ‘The Prince.’ I read it during the dubya years with one eye on current events and it showed me that government/politics hasn’t changed that much in 500 years. It’s on my ‘Books to read before you vote‘ list on Amazon.

I’m not surprised the church banned it since most religions work on the same principles as the governments of the world: treat them like mushrooms, make them fear you and your god. Their god of course is patterned after the ancient tyrannical kings who looked down their noses at their subjects/slaves and said “Obey me or I’ll torture and kill you.” Now the message “Be a good slave(servant, worshiper), you’ll have paradise in the next life,” often suffices.

They consider us to be livestock.

My test results:

Your score was 62 of 100.

This puts you in the category of the high Machs, people who do not belive in the goodness of the world and that because that it must be manipulated, people who Machiavelli would approve of.

FK – The test of course doesn’t take a lot of things into consideration. Thinking the world or human herd animals are certain things doesn’t equate to always acting in certain ways. But then human nature/behavior often ignores what it finds inconvenient.
