Commie watch – The Tea Party is Getting Worse: Media May Want a New Narrative, but GOP is Still Nuts

It’s not over in the U.S. Congress, where a shutdown-in-miniature is unfolding between the White House and the Tea Party wing of the GOP. It’s not over in Wisconsin, where a Tea Party-darling governor is slashing the state university system’s funding, changing its mission statement (while lying about it), and fighting tooth and nail to humiliate people on government benefits. It’s not over in North Carolina, where a billionaire-backed Tea Party government is also going after the public university system in its effort to turn the state into Kansas. And it’s not over in South Carolina, where one state representative hopes to mainline National Rifle Association propaganda to a generation of public school students.

Let’s stick with the South Carolina example for a moment, because I think it tells us much about the contemporary GOP’s character. According to Kimberly Johnson of Al Jazeera America, the recent decision on the part of PTR Industries, a gun manufacturer, to move its headquarters from Connecticut to South Carolina has inspired Republican state Rep. Alan Clemmons to propose what he’s calling the “Second Amendment Education Act.” As the name implies, the bill would “provide all public elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools” with “instruction in the Second Amendment” for no fewer than “three consecutive weeks in one grading period in each academic year.” The curriculum would be written by the NRA, of course.

FK – I knew what the snake flag stood for before the ‘tea party’ was cool. I knew we needed “Liberal”(commie) trash season years ago.

Here’s the article about the “No Rights that aren’t Allowed’ group maybe doing something right:

SC bill aims to prove state gun-friendly through NRA curriculum in schools

FK – We need to get the entire Bill of Rights back into the schools and the “Liberal”(commie) trash out of them and into a leaky rowboat headed to Australia. Though sometimes they are partly right about some things:

The Hard Right in Congress Has a Dangerous Plan to Strip American ‘Terrorists’ of Their Citizenship

FK – We should be stripping the hard corps “Liberal”(commie) trash activists, by whatever cute names they call themselves, of their fake ‘citizenship’ and shipping the creatures out of the country. They can’t be traitors, for one can’t be a traitor to something one has always hated. They’ll do the same to us if they can, if they can’t ‘re-educate’ us in a FEMA camp.

Cities repealing overreaching gun laws across Pennsylvania

Doylestown, Bethlehem, Allentown and Liberty, includes the list of dozens of cities across the Keystone State that are in the process of scrapping illegal laws to comply with an National Rifle Association-backed preemption measure.

The municipalities are scrambling due to Act 192, signed into law last year by Gov. Tom Corbett (R). As outlined in the language of the law, member groups such as the NRA can stand in for local citizens in challenging ordinances in court that exceed the state’s own gun laws.

The gun rights group at the time called the bill “the strongest firearms preemption statute in the country” and a “much-needed protection for gun owners in the Keystone State.”

In the scant weeks since its enactment, towns from one side of the state to the other have dusted off their laws and evaluated them for compliance.

FK – Every state needs pre-emption on gun laws and a militia force in every county to conduct an extensive and thorough “Liberal”(commie) trash season because our domestic blood enemies are never satisfied with a small slice of our cake, our our Liberty:

Bloomberg Suggests Banning Young Minority Males from Gun Ownership

FK – The evil gun laws, that should ‘all’ be repealed, already ban youth from carrying handguns. If a 16-year-old has the responsibility to drive a 2000 lb vehicle down the highway that same young adult has the right to defend herself.

Are you a JPFO force multiplier?

I’ve always considered apathy as great a threat to the right to keep and bear arms as outright anti-gun activism, probably even more so, because while “they” have billionaire funding, “we” have the numbers. That more isn’t done to demonstrate that is a nut I’ve been trying to crack for decades, most of the time shaking my head that so few seem willing to roll up their sleeves and help carry the load, be it through volunteer activities or funding support.

Case in point, out of an estimated 100 million gun owners in this country, the number reportedly belonging to the NRA is generally only put at around five million. Groups like the Second Amendment Foundation, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and Gun Owners of America weigh in at considerably fewer members. An even more marked lack of participation can be seen with many state-level grassroots gun rights groups, often staffed by a handful of overworked volunteers trying desperately to fight a state-level strategy being waged by Michael Bloomberg’s well-funded and professionally-staffed Everytown machine.

Another case in point is Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, a unique effort bringing a distinct message and a moral perspective on the evils historically enabled by a government monopoly of violence. The untimely death of founder, leader and teacher Aaron Zelman removed much of the direction, to the point where the organization was in danger of fading away.

FK – JPFO’s propaganda(it’s all propaganda) was a major factor in my early ‘waking up’ to the situation we face. I’ve always known JPFO as the group whose goal is to ‘destroy gun control.’

To me that means when this war is over all ‘gun laws’ are forever consigned to the dust bin of history and any elected, hired or appointed public servants who seek to bring it up in the future are immediately treated as the traitors to human Liberty they are.

If anything has changed about this goal then there’s a problem.

Mr. Gottlieb has done some things I’m not happy about but over all I think he’s done a lot of good, far more than most. It was at one of his training sessions back in the 90s that I heard Tanya Metaska(sp?) stand up and explain how the NRA at that time would give money to a candidate they supported but if that candidate lost they would offer money to the winner. I understood her to mean even our enemies. That was the end of my affiliation with the NRA.

Some have an issue with ‘compromise’ in any form. Compromise in minor battles may be acceptable, in some situations, but as a whole, concerning the outcome of the war, it’s not.
