So how would ‘enforcement’ work w/o license plates or drivers’ licenses(permission via paying a tax)? Or rather how would ‘revenue enhancement’ work? The SCOTUS has of course ruled multiple times the police don’t exist to protect anyone. Their job is to protect the state, enforce its laws and collect its revenue. Simple fact.
Never heard that version. Basing anything on the Articles of Confederation is a new one to me but I’ve never tried to play ‘legal eagle’ as I call them. I leave that up to patriots with more time to sit in jail cells than I have. I have known guys who try to get tickets so they can beat them in court.
Was driving through Louisiana back in the 90s in a co-worker’s van with an expired plate and he had no drvrs license but I did. I had set the cruise on 5 or 10 over as I usually do but was pulled over anyway by local yokel deputies. After I showed them my license and told them about the expired plates the owner had to talk to them. They separated us(3) and asked me all kinds of questions like ‘Do you have guns/grenades/bombs/whatever?’ I told them about my Glock in a bag. They didn’t even look at it.
About my friend I basically told them, “He feels he understands these issues well enough to do what he’s doing.”
After going back and forth with us for a few minutes they let us go. No ticket.
The same guy later spent time in the Atlanta jail for the same issue. Maybe he had Georgia plates I don’t remember.
The problem is all our ‘law’ is based on ‘case law’ and the constitution and Bill of Right are blatantly ignored whenever handy or whenever the non-men in this country find it cheaper to just put up with our light but growing police state.
I’d be really interested to know what cops are taught about ‘the constitution’ and our Bill of Rights, the document that ACKNOWLEDGES our natural born rights and makes us exceptional. But neither is enforced by ‘we the sheeple’ so the just-us system gets away with its evil.
