Appalachian People, Culture, and History – ROBERT SEPEHR

For some reason this vid won’t play on this site.

FK – You forgot Lil Abner and Daisy May.

Here in central Kentucky my bloodlines go back 200 years as far as I know. I have English, Irish, German and Indian blood and who knows what else thrown in. I’m a true American mutt. We spoke a hill dialect here, not quite the same as heard in the mountains that can still be heard among some residents but it’s evolved over time and is dying out.

But Ireland, Scotland and England or Albion was contested ground for untold thousands of years and the blood of untold races flows through our veins as well.

When one thinks about it and reads the Federalist vs. the Anti-Federalist papers one realizes not all the Founders shared the same values. When Washington enforced his tax, like Lincoln did but with far fewer casualties, he was representing the darker side of American politics.

The Whisky tax was repealed after the rebellion and that little war showed the real danger of a standing army some of the Founders feared so much.

Ultimately the people or sheeple as I prefer tend to graze and breed and dance and pray putting little to no thought into the world they exist in. The civil war or ‘culture war’ as some prefer to PC it we are now engaged in shows how the political process often amounts to little more than cheering for the home team. When the cheerleaders put their pom poms down all go home pretending the outcome of the last game is somehow acceptable while at the same time the losers do all they can to expose every scandal in a never-ending cycle of scandals, ignoring the real dangers that threaten human liberty.

There are no golden ages, only winners and losers. The winners can be those with the most bodies and bullets or they can be those with the greatest resolve to force their ideals on others.

But now we elect ‘conservative’ representatives to our legislatures who stupidly think we’ve always had an income tax since the beginning of the republic and have no conception of natural rights. Our politicians avoid using ‘the dark and bloody ground‘ which might put ideas of rebellion into our heads and try to pacify the simple minded by using the other versions of the Indian name for this land such as ‘land of tomorrow’ or some such.

As Cyrus the great said ‘soft countries make soft men,’ and our ancestors who were hardened by frontier life would probably spit on their descendants who are squandering what was bequeathed to them and allowing the evil ones to walk among us and steal the minds of every new generation.

We need ‘Overmountain Men‘ in every county in this country to form real genuine peoples’ militias and prepare for what must be done. But there are no men left here as far as I can tell for our enemies long ago wrested control of the indoctrination of the young from those who would teach them reality and strength.

It’s time to put guns back in the schools and educate children in reality not communist fantasy land.

What to teach your kids

A conspiracy to indoctrinate, or “What is an education?”

What’s the ultimate question?

A precursor to Hell on Earth

Our enemies have always been among us:

Land of Tomorrow
