Interceptors vary widely in expense and sophistication – but in a nutshell, they are radio-equipped computers with software that can use arcane cellular network protocols and defeat the onboard encryption.  Whether your phone uses Android or iOS, it also has a second operating system that runs on a part of the phone called a baseband processor.  The baseband processor functions as a communications middleman between the phone’s main O.S. and the cell towers.  And because chip manufacturers jealously guard details about the baseband O.S., it has been too challenging a target for garden-variety hackers.

“The baseband processor is one of the more difficult things to get into or even communicate with,” says Mathew Rowley, a senior security consultant at Matasano Security.  “[That’s] because my computer doesn’t speak 4G or GSM, and also all those protocols are encrypted.  You have to buy special hardware to get in the air and pull down the waves and try to figure out what they mean.  It’s just pretty unrealistic for the general community.”

Tourists from Japan flock to ranges in Waikiki, Hawaii, and the dozen or so that have cropped up in Las Vegas offer bullet-riddled bachelor parties and literal shotgun weddings, where newly married couples can fire submachine gun rounds and pose with Uzis and ammo belts.

Every kid at around 5-7 years of age should be shown what a shotgun or a deer rifle can do to a milk jug full of water to illustrate to them that weapons aren’t toys. They should be taken hunting at about that age as well. They should have already attended a funeral before that age to learn what death is and that this ‘life'(loosely defined) is finite and that they are mortal and can die.

If some neighborhood “Liberal”(commie) trash doesn’t agree show what the shotgun can do to it. Use rock salt unless you’re able to ‘shoot, shovel and shut up’ and you’ve trained your kids well in that soon to be very necessary skill.

When 19-year-old Kennesaw, Georgia native Daniel Pierce came out to his father, step-mother and grandparents this week, they did not take the news well, to say the least. The young man decided to start filming the interaction with his family, which quickly turned verbally abusive and physically violent. The five minute video he shot on his phone and later posted to YouTube has spread wide and far over the last few days, reaching nearly 4 million views.

During the confrontation, Pierce’s family cities “the word of God” to explain why they believe his sexual orientation is wrong. His father calls him “queer” and a “disgrace” before his step-mother begins physically beating him. The teen was since kicked out of his house and is staying with a sympathetic aunt.

Albers came to prominence after he pointed his rifle at protesters, at least one of whom was live streaming coverage, in Ferguson on the night of August 19, yelling, “I will fucking kill you.” When the protesters asked for his name and he declined to provide it, instead saying “Go fuck yourself,” they decided to just call him that.

Later, the ACLU succeeded in getting Albers removed from duty, at least temporarily, after writing a letter to the Missouri State Highway Patrol that described his actions. This week, according to the Post-Dispatch, the city’s board of police commissioners made the recommendation that Albers either be fired or resign. He chose to resign.

“I’m not condoning his behavior whatsoever,” Police Chief Aaron Jiminez told the paper. “It’s very hard because he is a good friend, he was a good boss. There’s going to be those who didn’t like him who are high-fiving now. Altogether it’s going to be a black eye on the city of St. Ann because he represented our department.”
