House Speaker Paul Ryan is widely reported to be crafting a deal which would pass the bill with Democratic votes — in lieu of conservative pro-gun Republicans.
In particular, Pelosi is demanding that Congress remove “boilerplate” text which has existed for twenty years — language that prevents the use of taxpayer dollars for “junk science” government studies in support of gun control.
According to The Hill this weekend, while many Republicans are balking at Pelosi’s request, some have indicated that they are willing to engage in some horse-trading on this issue, and “House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has declined to take a position” at all.
We saw on Sunday how newspapers like the New York Times use fraudulent “studies” from anti-gun nuts like the “Violence Policy Center” — and then pretend how these Leftist kooks are “unbiased.”
Imagine how much worse this would be if liberal Obama-controlled government agencies began pushing these same corrupt anti-gun “analyses.”
Remember, there’s a reason that Congress de-funded this research in the first place.

I outlined with undeniable evidence the reality that major governments, including the BRICS governments of the East, are fully on board with the globalist agenda. Do you think the Founders had an ‘army of god’ to fight the British? Study some history. They had the same issues any army has. Thomas Paine railed against the mainstream version of Christianity of that day. Many of the Founders were politicians and thus said what they knew the sheeple wanted to hear. A few of them stood their ground and insisted on a Bill of Rights that was supposed to force the government to acknowledge our most basic right, that of self defense against them.
Yes, ‘freedom of religion’ by necessity means ‘freedom from religion.’ History is transition, and without clear goals, restoring the Bill of Rights, re-enforcing and expanding Human Liberty which recognizes true ‘free will,’ not a choice between eternal slavery or eternal torture, then yes we may very well descend into chaos and a new dark age. President Obama took to the airwaves on Sunday night and told the nation we need more gun control.
Hillary Clinton — the one who will most likely be the Democrat nominee for president in 2016 — recently called for an all-out war on guns, as well.
And then, for the first time since 1920, the New York Times published an editorial on the front page of their newspaper.
This is important because the editorial page of the Times reflects the thinking of the anti-gun Democrat Left.
And what is the theme of the Times‘ most important message in nearly a hundred years?
In two words: Gun Confiscation.
FK – So what’re you gonna do when they come for yours? They’ll happily take it out of your cold dead hands. Are you going to sit home and wait your turn or meekly ‘turn them in’ and bequeath to your descendants a legacy of pathetic slovenly slavery?
