Never mind that neither a default nor a shutdown would be necessary if the federal governent were simply to slash spending and start living within its means.
“The debt ceiling will be handled over a period of months,” McConnell said his appearance on CBS’ Face the Nation Sunday. “I made it very clear after the November election we’re certainly not going to shut down the government or default on the national debt.”
He added that he hoped a debt limit extension “might carry some other important legislation that we can agree on in connection with it.”
Currently, the debt limit stands above $17 trillion, a significant increase from the already high $11.3 trillion when Obama took office.
FK – Don’t blame me. I didn’t vote for it. I propose we take it out of its allowance.
As I’ve been sayin’ for a long time: We’re gonna have to go up there, and we won’t be packin’ signs.
FK – They will only be remembered as ‘heroes’ if we win the coming war. The victors write the history books.
FK – Here’s the link to the ruling he’s referring too. It’s very long and I’m not a shyster so I can’t say if he’s right about this affecting what the BATF Nazis were trying to do at the behest of their evil masters or not.
As undeniably satisfying as that would be, though, I argue that actually accomplishing that goal might fairly be described as “winning the battle, but losing the war.” It all comes down to something from the previous paragraph–something worth repeating: ” . . . the reason for the very existence of the agency is for the enforcement of blatantly unconstitutional ‘laws.'” There is no reason to anticipate the imminent repeal of the unconstitutional federal gun laws (which is basically another way of saying all federal gun laws). Rep. Sensenbrenner’s bill, as well-intended as it undoubtedly is, certainly would not do so, and indeed would transfer enforcement of federal gun laws to the far larger, better funded, and more powerful FBI. As tireless liberty advocate Mike Vanderboegh has long argued, “I tell you now, I far prefer the devil I know in rehab than the devil I don’t running free with even greater power operating behind a cloak of invisibility, immunity and impunity.”
Some might argue that the FBI is less evil, less corrupt, and less prone to sadistic predation on the American people. Perhaps–but is that all the higher we are going to set the bar? It was not the BATFE, after all, but FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi who murdered an unarmed Vicky Weaver at Ruby Ridge, while she held her 10-month-old baby.
When the federal government incinerated scores of men, women, and children alive at Waco, it was not the BATFE, but the FBI who orchestrated the massacre (although the FBI did “honor” their little brothers and sisters of the smaller agency, by running up the BATFE flag over the still-smoking remains of their victims). In short, going from unconstitutional gun laws being enforced by the BATFE, to having the same unconstitutional gun laws enforced by the FBI, is not an upgrade for liberty.
FK – The republicrats had the congress and the now red house for years. What did they do but stand around with their fingers in the dike? What are they doing now? They could have de-funded BATF, DHS, and dozens of other evil agencies, laws, long ago.
Where’s the NRA? Why is GOA the only ‘gun group’ talking about amnesty when the commies want the illegals here for one reason: so they can get them to vote commie?
This column makes sense but in the bigger picture I’m not sure it makes much difference. Until enough apply proper political pressure or until enough wake up to the necessity of doing what will be required, we will remain saddled as the NWO livestock we are.
FK – We should shut them down, try them for treason and execute them and distribute their retirement funds among their victims if for no other reason than it would feel so good. But then that will probably require war crimes trials which will require a war. Are we ready for what will be required?
Our domestic blood enemies will NEVER just walk away or throw up their hands and say “Oh sorry we bothered you, we’re going home now to live in peace and Liberty with our neighbors.” Won’t happen. The trash will have to forced off this continent or into the grave. Get ready.
FK – Well, the cow is right about one thing, it would only take one round to kill it.
“The time has come to end the practice of using law enforcement as a cash register, a practice that has impacted too many Americans and has disproportionately affected minority and low-income communities. No American should have to face arbitrary police enforcement, the sole purpose of which is to raise revenue for a town, city, or state.”
While many people may not see it as such, this congressman’s bold move, if passed, would eliminate most police work.
Since there is no money in solving murders or preventing rapes, police departments in America have focused their duties on traffic citations and the drug war. Both of these venues are highly profitable for departments.
City and state governments have become so addicted to these revenue streams that we are now seeing full-on military raids on people in fruitless attempts to find drugs and money. Along with the drug raids, we are seeing police officers forced to collect a certain amount of revenue through traffic enforcement, or risk losing their jobs.
Cops are actually being disciplined on a large scale as they blow the whistle on their revenue addicted department heads who force them to write tickets or face consequences.
FK – Sounds like an idea whose time will soon come…
The ‘drug war’ exists because all the ‘right people’ make money from it:
“The story appears between The Republic, which is arguably the most influential work in Western civilization, and the Timaeus, which is Plato’s attempt to explain the universe and is one of the most influential books certainly in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance,” he says. “In between those two works, you’ve got the story of Atlantis. Obviously it meant something to Plato. Exactly what it meant, I don’t think we can tell.”
He continues: “Why would Plato insert [the story] at the beginning of the Timaeus, which is a very, very important work for him? To me it doesn’t make any sense, and he also repeatedly says, ‘This is a true story, this is a true story, this is a true story.’ Whether he is saying that ironically, we can’t tell from this vantage point.”
Plato said the story of Atlantis had ancient roots — even for his time. It was an oral tradition passed down to him from his ancestors who had first acquired the tale from Egyptian hieroglyphics.
FK – We were born into a world of mysteries and will likely die in a multitude of universes of mysteries. We are not the first nor the last and there is nothing new under the sun.
The agency is now crying “uncle,” in the face of thousands upon thousands of negative comments from gun owners all around the country — including more than 200 congressmen.
The agency said today:
Although ATF endeavored to create a proposal that reflected a good faith interpretation of the law and balanced the interests of law enforcement, industry, and sportsmen, the vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework, and include issues that deserve further study.
A “good faith interpretation”? Well, that’s laughable. But realize the agency says the issue deserves “further study.”
So now the question becomes: Is this a genuine retreat, or just a “tactical retreat,” as we saw with Operation Choke Point? In that case, the federal government removed gun dealers from its “risky business list,” but continue to persecute them under that program on a case-by-case basis.
And, finally, what about the ban on Russian-made 7N6 ammo, which is not reversed by ATF’s reversal?
Our answer to both of these questions is that we need to keep up the pressure — and not trust ATF’s purported “change of heart.”
GOA will keep watching the ATF and alert you to any future attempts to slip a ban by the American people.
FK – When the BATF Nazi trash mentions ‘faith’ it means in an all powerful force of murdering government goons.
Governments will always be able to get guns thus we need to be better armed than them.
FK – The ‘crime’ issue is a red herring. Even if ‘gun control’ could be proven to lower crime it would still be evil.
All ‘gun control’ is propaganda designed to condition the sheeple to more ‘control’ until full civilian disarmament is achieved. Thus all gun control is an act of war. All who forward it should be arrested, tried for treason against Human Liberty and executed.
FK – Killing millions over profit, the petrol dollar and 3000-year-old tribal propaganda. What a special time we exist in.

FK – Don’t know the details yet as to why the second vid was removed from youtube. Some piece of trash probably complained about it. I don’t remember seeing anything that ‘obscene’ but then I’m quite jaded.
