Democrat sheriff typifies ‘progressive Only One’ hypocrisy on guns

Regardless, the case could be made that the sheriff’s further claim, “only 1 percent of law enforcement members ever have to fire their gun in response to a crime,” makes it fair to ask why his deputies need guns. After all, in the next location to Flagler County’s east, Bermuda, police are typically unarmed and only true professionals, like Michael Bloomberg’s bodyguards, “need” to regularly carry firearms.

“He helped to clarify that gun control is important and that he wants to keep the people under him safe,” Merrill Shapiro, the interim leader of the local Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida bleated, letting slip the Prozi view of the proper relationship between disarmed citizens and armed enforcers by his reflexive use of the term “under.”

The safety praise curious, because it’s not exactly like Manfre had established himself as particularly authoritative — or even competent — when it comes to guns.

“Flagler County Sheriff Jim Manfre has not qualified for his law enforcement firearms certification, even though he attended an in-service training class two weeks ago,” a July 31 report reveals.

FK – Many fine examples of our dire need for a granite gallows in front of every city hall and county courthouse in this country.

Family secret: What the left won’t tell you about black crime

In the summer of 2013, after neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman, a Hispanic, was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, the political left wanted to have a discussion about everything except the black crime rates that lead people to view young black males with suspicion. President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder wanted to talk about gun control. The NAACP wanted to talk about racial profiling. Assorted academics and MSNBC talking heads wanted to discuss poverty, “stand-your-ground” laws, unemployment and the supposedly racist criminal justice system. But any candid debate on race and criminality in the United States must begin with the fact that blacks are responsible for an astoundingly disproportionate number of crimes, which has been the case for at least the past half a century.

Crime began rising precipitously in the 1960s after the Supreme Court, under Chief Justice Earl Warren, started tilting the scales in favor of the criminals. Some 63 percent of respondents to a Gallup poll taken in 1968 judged the Warren Court, in place from 1953 to 1969, too lenient on crime; but Warren’s jurisprudence was supported wholeheartedly by the liberal intellectuals of that era, as well as by politicians who wanted to shift blame for criminal behavior away from the criminals. Popular books of the time, like Karl Menninger’s “The Crime of Punishment,” argued that “law and order” was an “inflammatory” term with racial overtones. “What it really means,” said Menninger, “is that we should all go out and find the n–– and beat them up.”

Concealed Carry Holder Averts Mass Shooting in PA

It’s so predictable.

Reports of an active shooter are always “breaking news,” until a concealed carry holder shows up to diffuse the situation.

Then, all one hears is … well, crickets.  They go silent.

That’s exactly what happened on July 24 in Darby, Pennsylvania, when a doctor saved countless lives after he incapacitated a patient who had armed himself, walked past the gun-free zone sign and gunned down a case worker.

Next on the killer’s hit list was the doctor himself.

But what the gunman, Richard Potts, hadn’t counted on was that his intended target, Dr. Lee Silverman, had defied hospital policy and was carrying a gun of his own.

FK – No rule or law written by “Liberal”(commie) trash or by greedy workaholic corporate assholes who only care about their ‘liability’ is worth your life or your health.

Obama Administration Retreats on “Choke Point”

Pat yourselves on the back!

As you will recall, GOA rallied gun owners several times over the past couple of months in opposition to Operation Choke Point.

Well, faced with a devastating barrage from the Second Amendment community, the Obama administration has staged a hasty retreat on its plan to shut off credit for gun stores through “Operation Choke Point.”

According to an article in The Washington Times, “[g]un retailers are no longer on a hit list deemed ‘high risk’ by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. after the banking regulator formally withdrew [this list]” last week.

The FDIC said its efforts to destroy the gun industry “led to misunderstandings.”

FK – There are no ‘misunderstandings’ in this war. Our blood domestic enemies know full well what they do and there is only one cure for them: war crimes trials and executions.

An Open Letter to President Barack H. Obama

FK – See, that’s my problem, I’d never be able to address the trash with ‘respect.’

Hypocrisy over Gaza

FK – There are no saints in that war, only idiots and religious nuts and of course the elites who profit from it. We should move the Israelies to Australia and let them have their ‘promised land’ there then plant redneck meccas and factories in the middle east and put a cell phone and a game boy in the hands of the teenagers. In a generation or less they’ll forget about ‘allah’ and maybe stop rejoicing over billions being burned alive in fire forever.

The Elitist Gun Controllers

Consider Shannon Watts’ snotty demand for armed security, even as her Moms Demand works to disarm citizens.

Consider my gun grabber buddy’s revealing claim that he is a target of those desperate poor people, who need to be disarmed for his own safety, and a very disturbing trend emerges.

These people live in fear. They live in fear of those desperate plebs, who they believe are apt to grab a gun at any moment and go on a shooting spree. They live in fear of anyone who is not them, apparently.

Their supporters accuse those of us who insist on preserving our rights to defend ourselves and our families – be it from armed thugs or armed government thugs – of paranoia. They claim we live in fear, and that’s why we need our guns. I can’t begin to count how many times I have been ridiculed and smarmily accused of being a coward who needs a gun to feel safe in everyday life. “Are the groceries so dangerous you need to carry a gun before you buy, or is it the stores that are a danger?” one gun grabber quipped on Twitter recently.

FK – You actually think you have a “Liberal”(commie) trash ‘buddy?’

Remember: Your “Liberal”(commie) trash so-called ‘friends’ voted to kill you for believing in Human Liberty and valuing your most basic right, the right to self defense against such trash as they. No one who claims to be a pacifist can vote for voting is the most violent act anyone can participate in. At the end of every vote is a badge and a gun with the authority to kill those who don’t go along with that vote.

All ‘gun control’ is propaganda designed to condition the sheeple to accept further ‘control’ until full citizen disarmament is achieved. Thus all ‘gun control’ is an act of war and all those who forward it should be arrested, tried for treason and executed.

Barry Bright: Gorillas with guns

Hollyweird has proven one thing: monkeys never run out of ammo. Not once during the latest version of Planet of the Apes did I see a simian do a magazine change.

The director did however make sure to include at least a couple of dramatic clicking sounds for a weapon that should have already been in battery. This usually drives me batty but since it only happened twice with this flick I’ll give them a pass.

I went to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes because the originals were shown on the weaponvision when I was a sixth grader or so and I was fascinated with the concept. A girl in front of me in class liked the movies and we’d talk about them a lot. Don’t remember a thing we said but we were sixth graders.

Without throwing out any spoilers, the script is predictable to a point with a couple of unexpected turns but the same themes are there, Ape vs. man who is also part ape so they suffer from most of the same foibles, bad nature, whatever. Neither group can blindly trust it’s own members though some fall into the trap of thinking they can until human/ape nature proves them wrong.

Somehow the writers avoided the great political correctness of our day: There were no gay apes, tranny apes, or apes applying for marriage licenses(permission to get married). No hand holding by male apes. It was pretty much nuclear family type stuff, type A males and scared sheeple followers, on both the human and ape sides.

Some have claimed ‘gun control’ was a thread that ran through the picture and it could be interpreted that way but for once I’ll give Hollyweird a break and just say that if you watch the flick to the end and think about it the two main characters portray the qualities any leader should: level headedness, fairness, and in the end a healthy respect for the inadequacies of his own species.

One human character was patterned more than a little after what most “Liberal”(commie) trash would consider to be a hard corps conservative ‘Rah Rah ‘Murica can’t trust the enemy cause they hurt us’ type. Let’s face it, many of them are like that. Most of them are Romney voters and think we can send enough bombs to mountain caves to solve our problems. So I have to give them a pass for that too because the guy did do a smart thing in a stupid way and got caught and almost cost the lives of his compatriots.

History shows if you’re a Jew you don’t run down the street in 1943 Berlin screaming “I’m a Jew and I have a right to be a Jew,” without expecting some consequences. When the apes tell you ‘no guns’ you’d better practice deep concealment or be ready to face the consequences, or be ready to shoot apes.

FK – At least some of the flick is based in reality:

FK – Apes obviously don’t have access to YouTube:

FK – This guy has more to say about it than I want to bother with. I just wanted to enjoy the movie for once, well not really, but it does make me feel better that he doesn’t know the difference between an elk and a deer:
