“Divergent” Is A Damn Good Thing. It’ll Stop The Government

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWTaA_C1s14

This country is full of idiots who think they’re being ‘divergent’ when they’re actually just following a different herd. The tattoo thing comes to mind. I miss the days when only sailors, Marines and criminals had them.

The ameri-commie insurgency told generations to ‘rebel,’ and ‘think outside the box,’ and ‘Don’t trust anyone over 30‘ and on and on when what they meant was ‘do things our way.’ The other isms are often guilty of the same, only wanting their versions of reality forced on everyone else.

Don’t understand? Start here.

Rand Paul “concerned about who is truly in charge of our government”

In prepared comments Paul notes “I am honestly worried, concerned about who is truly in charge of our government. Most of you have read the dystopian nightmares and maybe, like me, you doubted that it could ever happen in America.”

“If the CIA is spying on Congress, who exactly can or will stop them?” the comments also state. “I look into the eyes of senators and I think I see real fear. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but I think I perceive FEAR of an intelligence community drunk with power, unrepentant, and uninclined to relinquish power.”

Could we condemn criminals to suffer for hundreds of years? Biotechnology could let us extend convicts’ lives ‘indefinitely’

Sentencing a criminal to 1,000 years in an artificial hell may one day become a reality.

At least, that is the claim of scientists at Oxford University who have been exploring controversial technologies that could extend human life.

They say billions are being invested in techniques that could mean the cruellest criminals will be kept alive indefinitely in condition befitting their crime.

FK – One wonders what kind of sadistic asshole would come up with the idea of ‘eternal punishment’ when our lowly human governments, at least most of them, have banned it:

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Reminds me of this:

Friends of Science Welcomes World Economic Forum to Alberta with Climate Change Billboard at YYC Stating the Sun Is the Main Driver of Climate Change Not CO2

Maier points out that the World Economic Forum may also have been deterred by the world’s largest concentration of earth and atmospheric scientists and professional engineers in Alberta – with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geosciences of Alberta (APEGA) membership numbering some 70,000+. A recent survey in Organizational Studies reported on by Forbes peer-reviewed study Feb. 13, 2013 finds some 56% of APEGA scientists strongly disagree with the dangerous Anthropogenic Global Warming theory expounded by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The survey entitled “Science or Science Fiction? Professionals’ Discursive Construction of Climate Change” by Lefsrud and Meyer reports most respondents felt climate change was a natural process and human impact posed a minimal risk to the public and little or no personal risk. [The survey discounted 7.9% participants as ‘disguised’ and only 36% as “Comply with Kyoto”].

FK – Gee, the sun affecting what happens here. Imagine that.

The most important thing to understand about ‘global warming’ is that it’s the latest excuse of the “Liberal”(commie) trash who call themselves ‘environmentalists’ to control every aspect of our existences in this world.

Anti-gun Surgeon General Nominee in Serious Trouble, Thanks to You! — Plus, GOA needs your help to stick it to fascist states like NY and CT

Thankfully, because of the united pro-gun opposition to Murthy, ten Democrats are now considering voting against this Surgeon General nomination.  Since the only Republican defection thus far is Mark Kirk of Illinois, this would be enough to defeat Murthy, even with the illegal nomination-related rules changes Democrat Leader Harry Reid enacted last November.

Interestingly, according to Saturday’s New York Times, one of the options considered by the White House would be to delay the nomination until January, when, it hopes, newly reelected “red state” Democrats like Mark Begich (D-AK), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Mark Pryor (D-AR), John Walsh (D-MT), Mark Udall (D-CO), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), and Mark Warner (D-VA) would be once again free to vote anti-gun.

We are working with litigators to try to challenge states such as these in court — in the face of a judiciary which is increasingly packed by Obama with anti-gun judges.

But one thing we can do to force states like New York and Connecticut to recognize the Constitution is to pass reciprocity legislation like H.R. 578, which has been introduced by Congressman Marlin Stutzman in the House and currently has 38 cosponsors.
