GOA Alert: Legislative Shoot-out Expected in the U.S. Senate

Within the next 72 hours, gun owners should expect votes in the U.S. Senate on:

* Outlawing ATF bullet bans

* Concealed Carry Reciprocity

* Prohibiting Senate anti-gun amendments.

We expect more gun-related showdowns in the next 72 hours than in the next 9 months combined.  At least 5 gun-related amendments are expected on the Budget Resolution — a once-a-year vehicle that gives senators an opportunity to get hundreds of votes on any issue they choose.

And at least five senators have chosen to get votes on guns.

We have already told you about the Crapo amendment to shut down Operation Choke Point — which has been used by Eric Holder to try to financially strangle the gun industry.

FK – In reality they should only be allowed to vote on one issue at a time and only  consider one bill at a time and be required to pass a test to show they actually read it before they vote on it…

Gallup: Americans Say Our Government is Our ‘Most Important’ Problem

A Gallup poll of 1,025 American adults conducted March 5-8 discovered that Americans are more likely to volunteer that government is our “most important” problem as opposed to any other.

In the survey, Gallup asked: “What do you think is the most important problem facing the country today.”

Eighteen percent responded to the question by expressing dissatisfaction with government, Congress or politicians. Eleven percent said the economy general; and 10 percent said unemployment or jobs.

FK – Gee, I knew that 20 years ago. Will it be another 20 years before enough come to grips with the reality of what will be required to fix this mess if it can be fixed?

FK – My parents’ generation and before knew real poverty. Now they can go get steak and ice cream and watch the propaganda cast on their big screens so every thing must be OK. The ‘baby boomers’ were the first spoiled generation, of which I am in the tail. Most of us are too stupid to see what’s in front of our faces.

Kids today? The Ron Paul ‘revolution’ was certainly ‘progress,’ but not in the communist sense of ‘progressivism.’ Most of them are still indoctrinated by the govt. schools and universities, but now it’s countered by the net, for those who seek to pay attention. A minority they will always be. They will be the ones who will have to fight this war.

But to say things haven’t ‘progressed’ is blind. The ‘gun rights’ movement has made ‘progress’ though we have a long way to go. We are still deep in the war zone but to say it’s hopeless is cowardice, which many choose, and always will simply because it’s easier.

Gun Rights Haters Try To Learn About Guns

You read the title correctly, Delaware County United for Sensible Gun Policy (Delco United) held their “Firearms 101 Presentation” Monday night (02/02/2015) in Springfield, PA. They figure if they gain a little book knowledge about guns they’ll have more credibility. OK, stop laughing, you have an article to read.

A page from the handout questioning
the nonexistent gun show loophole

As you can see by following the link above, the presenter,
Larry Glick, is well credentialed being a former law enforcement officer and a former National Rifle Association member. Unfortunately, my request to video his presentation was denied. Let me start with one of the most most important things that he said, “there is no gun show loophole”. He went to great lengths to explain that the idea that there are many gun sales going on at gun shows with no background checks performed is false. Glick very directly told the Delco United people not to pursue that angle. Let’s let that sink in for a moment. At a meeting of one of the major gun rights hating groups in the Philadelphia area the speaker debunked one of the biggest lies that gun rights haters put out.

The evening started out interestingly enough. When I first got there Terry Rumsey and Robin Lasersohn, Co-Chairs of Delco United, recognized me as the leader of the Open Carry Counter-Rally For Gun Rights that stole the thunder from their march and rally for universal background checks in Media, PA last June. They took me aside and expressed their concern that I might try to disrupt their meeting. “We don’t want people being afraid of being mocked when they ask questions”, is how I recall Robin Lasersohn putting it. After agreeing to behave, which was my intention all along, I was allowed to stay.

FK – My comments, mostly in response to comments on the column linked above:

The most ‘private property’ anyone possesses is their own body/life/health. No piece of mindless pacified trash has any ‘right’ to tell us we can’t defend ourselves where ever we are.

If the creatures can’t or won’t ‘accept our guns’ they don’t belong here. There’s no such thing as a ‘right’ to destroy our most basic right.

The ‘non-aggression’ principle is pacifist Bravo Sierra. Of course we shouldn’t attack ‘peaceful’ people or always resort to violence first if there is a true viable alternative, but if I learn a group is planning to come attack me I have every right, duty and responsibility to destroy them in place if I’m able.

The Ameri-commies, the “Liberal”(commie) trash, are working openly to destroy this country and rob us of the Bill of Rights, which wasn’t written by Libertarians. They will happily send their black-suited Nazis, soldiers, to kill us for refusing to obey their evil laws despite their false pacifism.

Carry anyway and lie to your domestic blood enemies, because it’s their nature to lie to you.

This guy has bigger gonads than most of us:

Infamous study of humanity’s ‘dark side’ may actually show how to keep it at bay

In 1961, with memories of Holocaust atrocities and the prosecution of Nazi officials at Nuremburg still fresh, psychologist Stanley Milgram undertook a series of now infamous experiments on obedience and reprehensible behavior.

About two-thirds of Milgram’s nearly 800 study subjects, pressed by an authoritative experimenter, were willing to administer increasingly powerful electric shocks to an unseen stranger despite cries of agony and pleas to stop.

“Milgram claimed to have found sort of a dark side to human nature that people were not quite as attuned to,” says Matthew Hollander, a graduate student in sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. “His study participants were much more likely to obey than he expected, and that was an understandably uncomfortable result.”

But Milgram divided his subjects into just two categories: obedient or disobedient. After examining the experiences of more than 100 of Milgram’s participants, Hollander sees a great deal more nuance in their performances — and maybe a way to prevent real-world occurrences of authority overriding ethical judgment.

FK – The same humanity has for thousands of years burned people alive, tortured them for not ‘agreeing’ with the proper version, sub-version or subversion or for not submitting to taxation or enslavement(same thing) and worshiped ‘gods’ that were patterned after ancient tyrannical kings who did all mentioned above. Why are we surprised? I’m not.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AW2xgbqX0EU

FK – All this sounds wunnerful but there will always be those who seek to fill the power vacuum, always. Until the so-called ‘good’ people learn how to stand up and prepare for what will be required nothing is likely to change.

And he’s assuming there will be ‘war crimes trials’ where the truly guilty are tried. The victors write the history books.

Free Community College is a Bad Idea

FK – They want to go ‘all the way’ baby, all the way. The only limit to their insanity is the limit we force upon it.

They’re forcing kids to stay in ‘school’ until they’re 18 so that means they’re running sausage through the grinder without checking it for content and those who want to learn anything have to go to college.

Time to look at the way things were done in ancient times when kids were raised to be adults and not hairy children. When they turn 14 give them the opportunity to drop out for a while and work a job or enter an apprenticeship or some other ‘real world’ program.

We’ll not likely get rid of the govt. schools because there are too many herd animals breeding who’d never make sure their offspring learned to even read or write or do simple math. Simple fact. As much as it hurts to admit it the govt. schools do serve some purpose. The problem is we allowed the commies(who built them) to have too much say in how they’re run.

The govt. funded universities and colleges are no better.

And it’s time to require 3 things to vote: Proof of citizenship, proof of literacy in English and passing a test that shows the voter has a basic understanding of our history and the form of govt. we’re supposed to have here. If they won’t go to that trouble, and a lot wouldn’t, they don’t need to be voting anyway.

Who’s Afraid of Machiavelli imagine Winter BBC Documentary

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZQVWvte_Ks

FK – This is only an hour. It’s streamed twice in this segment for some reason. I couldn’t find a better resolution version on YouTube.

Everyone should read ‘The Prince.’ I read it during the dubya years with one eye on current events and it showed me that government/politics hasn’t changed that much in 500 years. It’s on my ‘Books to read before you vote‘ list on Amazon.

I’m not surprised the church banned it since most religions work on the same principles as the governments of the world: treat them like mushrooms, make them fear you and your god. Their god of course is patterned after the ancient tyrannical kings who looked down their noses at their subjects/slaves and said “Obey me or I’ll torture and kill you.” Now the message “Be a good slave(servant, worshiper), you’ll have paradise in the next life,” often suffices.

They consider us to be livestock.

My test results:

Your score was 62 of 100.

This puts you in the category of the high Machs, people who do not belive in the goodness of the world and that because that it must be manipulated, people who Machiavelli would approve of.

FK – The test of course doesn’t take a lot of things into consideration. Thinking the world or human herd animals are certain things doesn’t equate to always acting in certain ways. But then human nature/behavior often ignores what it finds inconvenient.
